Hey Hey Virtual Besties,
I hope everyone enjoyed Jan 2022 as much as I did. Honestly I did a lot but did not do a lot. It's life! I know you are reading the title and trying to figure out what I am talking about so I will get right to it.
Picture it...Twitter 2022...A Random White Guy rolls into my DMs and shows me.

If you have been a follower for a while, you know that I love some Twitter. I connect with so many people and learn a lot. Also, when major events happen, the tea is hot. On yesterday, I decided to follow one of my Twitter Friend's Friend. The usual grow your twitter thing. Next thing, I get a DM. Now ladies, what you are thinking is the same thing I was thinking.
SPAMMMMMM or WEIRDOOOOOO!
Welp, that wasn't the case. It was a nice RANDOM WHITE GUY, who wanted to pour into me. Now, I was very hesitant to respond but his DM was hilarious and what I needed. So I jumped on a call with him. He was a real person and didn't have a robot voice.
We began talking and he started to READ ME. Not in a bad way but in a good way!
How did this RANDOM WHITE GUY know me without knowing me? How did he see that I was playing small and getting in my own way? This is only after a 20 minute conversation.
He broke things down in details on how I could improve Kendra and what Kendra needs to be doing. He told me in regards to my offerings that...
- I am either lying about my credentials (degrees, certifications, and knowledge)
- I am getting in my own way
Well I know 1 was the lie and 2 was the truth. But how did this RANDOM WHITE GUY just put me in my place and gather me. It goes to show you that you never know who you will cross paths with that want to see you win. You never know who sees YOU! The only person I can be is Kendra E so i'm showing up in a mighty way.
RWG...saw me and what I was NOT doing. Being the AMAZING WOMAN that I am. Getting in my own way.
Well one thing i'm going to stop doing is getting in my own way and walk it like I talk it. It's funny I can tell people what to do all day to imrpove their business or life, but I don't take my own advice. Crazy right. That stops now.
